Guidance Counselling Program
Vantage Hall seeks to provide a safe, caring, and positive environment for their students. Counselors at Vantage Hall support and advocate for students, parents, faculty and staff; they foster emotional, social, and academic well-being; promote overall health and wellness through active listening, problem-solving, education, and referrals.
Counselors are accessible to students and parents to offer support and guidance when needed. Their goals are to maintain student well-being and to develop student self-awareness, independence, self-advocacy and resiliency.
Primary Responsibilities
Individual short-term and crisis counseling for students
Observation, guidance and consultation for parents, faculty and administrators
Group counseling and guidance
Maintain open lines of communication with parents
Learning Assistance Program
The Learning Assistance Program seeks to help meet the individual learning needs of students within the framework of Vantage Hall’s and CBSE’s curricular requirements. Supporting the belief that students learn in different ways, the Learning Specialists work with students, faculty, parents and administrators to identify individual needs and decide how best to address those needs.
The primary goal is to help students meet the educational and emotional challenges of Vantage Hall with conviction and success. Learning assistance is available to any student who is having academic difficulties.
