Don’t just take our word for it
Spending five years at Vantage Hall, tucked away in the tranquil outskirts of Dehradun, was nothing short of transformative. I entered as a wide-eyed 12-year-old, unsure of what lay ahead, and left as a confident and grounded young woman. This school became more than just a place of education – it became home.
What made it so special were the people who brought it to life. The teachers weren’t just educators; they were like family. They knew us inside out – our strengths, weaknesses, and all our quirks. They celebrated our victories, no matter how small, and stood by us through our struggles. Whether it was staying back late to help us understand a lesson or offering a comforting shoulder during tough times, they truly cared for us like their own. From their words of wisdom to their silent gestures of support, they helped us grow into the best versions of ourselves.
Living in a close-knit community like the vantage family taught me the value of relationships. The bonds we formed with the people around us – whether in the classroom, dining hall, sports field or the dormitories – became the foundation of lifelong memories.
Leaving was bittersweet, but I carry with me a heart full of gratitude for the incredible people who made these five years unforgettable. Vantage wasn’t just a school; it was a family. And for that, I’ll always be thankful.
Every time I narrate my boarding school experience at Vantage Hall, I make sure to mention that it was the best decision of my life. Vantage Hall will forever remain my alma mater—a place that shaped me into a better person in every aspect of life. Reflecting on my time there fills me with immense joy, as it profoundly influenced the person I am today.
The school’s nurturing environment encouraged me to unlock my potential, both academically and personally. With the guidance of supportive teachers and the camaraderie of kind-hearted peers, I thrived amidst the healthy competitions and enriching experiences that defined our daily lives.
From the morning assemblies to the late-night dorm conversations, every moment at Vantage Hall instilled in me lessons of discipline, empathy, and teamwork. I formed lifelong friendships with people who have been instrumental in my journey and whose presence makes my achievements even more meaningful.
The values I absorbed at Vantage Hall continue to steer me in all my endeavors. I remain deeply grateful for the opportunities and unwavering support the school provided, which built a strong foundation for my future.
I have no doubt that Vantage Hall will continue to inspire countless girls to dream boldly and achieve their aspirations.
Vantage Hall has been more than just a place of education—it has shaped the foundation of who I am today, instilling resilience, independence, and a lifelong thirst for growth. I found my lifelong friends and mentors here. One of the most valuable lessons I gained from VH was learning how to be a source of support for others, inspired by the unwavering support I received from my teachers and friends. From celebrating extra treats from the tuck shop to medals and college acceptances, VH has truly become my forever home.
I had the best years of my life at Vantage Hall. Every person there holds a special place in my heart, and whenever I talk about my days at Vantage Hall, I find myself wishing I could go back in time.
This incredible place discovered talents in me that I never knew existed. Sports, in particular, always kept me motivated. The staff was always there to encourage me, pushing me to participate in competitions, and every win felt so meaningful and rewarding.
If someone were to ask me what I’d like to relive, my answer would always be these unforgettable days. From waking up for morning sports to hiding tucks, dancing at inter-house competitions, sitting around bonfires, and celebrating every festival together—it was pure magic.
I miss it all so much and will always cherish the memories I made at Vantage Hall.
Vantage is the reason I am who I am today. From waking up early for morning games and laughing about the dumbest things with my friends to honoring the position of school captain. Every memory has contributed to who I present myself as. Through my time at vantage I had a lot of ups and downs but with the help of the administrative members, the academic faculty, the staff at the hostel, the Didis and Bhaiyas, and my friends, my experience holds memories that I will cherish forever. I started off as a coy and shy girl, perhaps at the verge of leaving the school but after making a smart pact with my father I decided to make the most of my time at the school and indulge myself with what Vantage had to offer in the hopes that I would leave at the end of the year. That hope vanished very quickly when I started enjoying the activities Vantage offered , and soon enough I was representing the school at competitions. The one thing about Vantage is that there are an ample number of opportunities to perform in areas where you excel and my message to every student would be to make the best use of these opportunities so that Vantage can help you grow and achieve your goals. In Vantage we learn from our experiences, we lead by example and we contribute to our society.
Spending eight transformative years at Vantage Hall Girls’ Residential School was more than just an education—it was a journey that shaped my character and outlook on life. Unlike other boarding schools, Vantage Hall stood apart by fostering a nurturing environment where individuality was celebrated and growth was encouraged.
The school’s focus on holistic development allowed me to explore my potential in academics, sports, leadership, and creativity, striking a balance that shaped me into a well-rounded individual.
The supportive community of teachers provided personalised guidance, allowing me to make mistakes, reflect, and improve without fear. At Vantage Hall, achievements were celebrated, but the struggles and lessons that led to them were equally honoured.
Vantage Hall didn’t just prepare me for exams or accolades—it prepared me for life. It taught me that growth doesn’t happen in perfection but in the courage to embrace imperfection and persist regardless. My years at Vantage Hall shaped me into a confident, compassionate, and determined individual, ready to take on the world with integrity and an unwavering drive to improve.
I was a student at Vantage Hall since 2016, I joined the institution in eighth grade and was a part of it until 2021 which is when I graduated. I belong to a small town in Uttar Pradesh and wasn’t exposed to any personality-building curriculum and sports until then. The faculty at Vantage Hall had always been warm, welcoming, and supportive. I never thought about the things I could be good at until I participated in the co-curricular activities Vantage Hall had to offer. I discovered my love and talent for music, my fascination with literature and public speaking. The teachers at Vantage Hall patiently paid attention to every student and gave them the time and attention that they needed. I witnessed myself making significant progress year after year. My parents saw my personality take a shift from being a shy, reserved, and quiet girl to being the strong, confident, and independent woman that I had become when I graduated. Vantage Hall has shaped me in every way possible to become a person who can handle decision making, complex scenarios and navigate challenges with confidence and resilience. The experiences and lessons I’ve gained there have instilled in me the skills to think critically, communicate effectively, and adapt to any situation that comes my way. I would like to especially mention Ma’am Seema Sharda for being an excellent English Teacher initially and further a very inspiring Principal and Mentor for me. Sir Rishi Singh and Ma’am Giriraj Parmar were equally brilliant at keeping observations at ground level and acting on any complications that came their way. This place teaches you to stand your ground with confidence but also to know how to compromise when needed. Truly, Vantage Hall can transform a student into a grateful, kind, and skilled individual who is ready for the world outside.
