At Vantage Hall, community service is an integral part of our educational philosophy. We encourage our students to engage with the broader community, fostering empathy, compassion, and a sense of responsibility. Through various initiatives, our students have had the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others. Here are some of the key community service activities they participate in:
Visits to the Blind School
Our students regularly visit the local Blind School, engaging with visually impaired children through activities such as storytelling, arts and crafts, and games. These interactions help break down barriers and promote inclusivity while providing much-needed companionship and support to the children.
Volunteering at Prem Dham - Old Age Home
At Prem Dham, our students dedicate their time to interacting with the elderly residents. They organize activities, share stories, and provide a listening ear, helping to brighten the days of those in the home. This experience deepens students’ understanding of the challenges faced by seniors and fosters a culture of respect and care.
Supporting Aasraa Trust
Through our partnership with Aasraa Trust, students participate in various initiatives aimed at supporting street children. Whether through fundraising events or educational workshops, our students work to raise awareness and provide resources that help empower these young individuals, encouraging them to pursue their dreams.
Engagement with Bajaj Institute for Deaf & Dumb Children
Our students have the opportunity to visit the Bajaj Institute, where they learn about the experiences of children with hearing and speech impairments. These visits include interactive sessions and workshops that foster communication and understanding, promoting inclusivity and empathy among all participants.
Langar Sewa at Ponta Sahib
Participating in Langar Sewa at Ponta Sahib is a cherished tradition for our students. By serving meals to those in need, they not only contribute to the community but also embrace the values of humility and selflessness. This experience reinforces the importance of giving back and caring for others.
Tree Plantation
Our commitment to the environment is evident through our active tree plantation initiatives. Students take part in planting trees, herbs, and various plants, fostering a sense of responsibility and connection to nature. These hands-on experiences not only enhance our school’s greenery but also educate students about the importance of biodiversity and sustainability. Participating in tree plantation activities instills a sense of pride and teamwork, as students work together to create a greener future. Through these efforts, we aim to inspire environmental stewardship and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for the planet among our students.
Sachidanand Foundation
Our school partners with the Sachidanand Foundation, an NGO focused on empowering underprivileged communities through education and social development. As part of our community service program, our students regularly visit the foundation’s school to help with teaching, organize activities and support the children in their learning. This program encourages inclusivity, responsibility and compassion, helping our students develop both personally and socially.
