An eleven-member team of students from Vantage Hall Girls’ Residential School successfully participated in the first round of Ecovision Dialogue – Harela Go Green 2026, securing their selection for the second round of the competition scheduled for September 2026. This environmental achievement highlights our standing as the best girls boarding school in Dehradun.
The event was organized by RED FM 93.5 in association with the Uttarakhand Council for Science and Technology (UCOST) at the UCOST campus in Jhajhra, Dehradun, on August 11–12, 2026. The milestone showcases the practical scientific exposure delivered at the premier best girls boarding school in Dehradun, India.
The ECO Forge Initiative & Sustainable Innovations
The participating student team comprised Gurleen, Ipsa, Shakya, Minal, Ananya, Moli, Maanas, Jhalak, Tejaswini, Farmi, and Kashvi. During the event, the team presented two sustainable product models developed under their “ECO Forge” initiative:
Featured Innovations:
- ECO-Briq: A sustainable alternative fuel manufactured from waste biomass.
- ECOOL: An innovative eco-brick constructed using recycled thermocol.
The team presented their research, product applications, and waste-to-resource potential before a delegation of scientists and distinguished guests, including Uttarakhand Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj. Following their presentation and defense of the products’ practical applications, the team was awarded Certificates of Appreciation and officially selected to compete in the secondary stage.
