Vantage Hall Girls’ Residential School successfully hosted its Annual Sports Meet 2025 on 20th December 2025, marking a day filled with energy, discipline, and the true spirit of sportsmanship. The event was graced by Col. Mamta Gupta as the Chief Guest, whose presence added pride and inspiration to the occasion.
The programme commenced with the Arrival of the Chief Guest, followed by a warm and respectful Welcome of the Chief Guest and The Judges. This was followed by the Hoisting of the School Flag by the Chief Guest, symbolizing unity and sporting spirit. Subsequently, Col. Mamta Gupta formally Declared the Annual Athletic Meet Open, setting the tone for a day of competitive excellence.
One of the most inspiring moments of the ceremony was the Torch Relay, representing perseverance, determination, and the Olympic spirit. This was followed by the impressive Inter-House March Past, where students showcased discipline, coordination, and house pride. The Speech by The Chief Guest motivated the students with encouraging words and valuable insights on discipline, resilience, and teamwork.
The Oath Ceremony was conducted next, reaffirming the athletes’ commitment to fair play and integrity. The competitive segment of the day featured a series of Athletic Events, including 200 Meters Races for Senior and Junior Groups and 100 Meters Races for Sub-Junior, Junior, And Senior Categories, with enthusiastic participation from students across all age groups.
The winners were honoured during the Prize Distribution Ceremony, acknowledging their hard work and achievements. This was followed by a synchronized and energetic Mass PT Display, highlighting coordination, fitness, and teamwork among students. Adding a fun element to the day, the Tug-Of-War Event brought excitement, laughter, and house spirit to the field.
The second phase of athletic events included Relay Races, such as the 4×50 Meters Relay for Sub-Juniors and 4×100 Meters Relays for Junior and Senior Categories, where students displayed speed, coordination, and team effort. Another Prize Distribution Ceremony followed to honour the relay winners.
The event concluded with an inspiring Address by the Principal, who congratulated the participants and encouraged students to continue striving for excellence. The Declaration of the Annual Athletic Meet Closed was formally made by the Director, followed by a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by The Sports Captain, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, staff, officials, and participants. The programme concluded on a patriotic note with the National Anthem.
